Friends Academy seeks an experienced French teacher for Fall 2022, someone who is excited about teaching high school students to engage in our core educational practices. A successful candidate will thrive in a vibrant educational environment, embrace change, and will have a deep interest in our Quaker mission and educational philosophy. Support activities that contribute to the life of the school will include co-curricular responsibility, advising, and attendance at faculty and all school meetings.
Qualifications
French language high school instruction, with a focus on 21st-century learning skills. An undergraduate degree is required, and a graduate degree in either education or in a relevant discipline is preferred. Teaching experience of at least three years is desired, and experience with the AP program is a plus. A successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, and strong organizational, time management, and technology skills. The person will be student-centered and excited to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and the community.
