Admissions Assistant
Position Overview
The Admissions Assistant is an integral member of the Admissions Office. They are responsible for supporting the admissions process and procedures and provide appropriate and accurate information to applicant parents, interested educators, and faculty and staff, along with providing administrative support to the admissions team and assisting with activity sessions and events. While assisting with the entire PreK-12 admissions process, this position will primarily support the lower and middle school process. They will be required to travel between campuses as scheduled. Some evening and weekend hours for events are required.
The Admissions Assistant reports to the Director of Admissions and works closely with the Associate Directors of Admissions and entire admissions team.

Primary Responsibilities
- Correspond daily with interested parties and prospective applicant families.
- Schedule and confirm admissions activities (tours, testing, playgroups/activity sessions, interviews, and various meetings and events).
- Update, distribute, and track admissions application materials.
- Generate and maintain admissions materials associated with admissions events and meetings and all general office mailings to prospective families.
- Maintain the admissions database and manage applicant files throughout the admissions process - inquiry through acceptance and enrollment.
- Assist with coordination and implementation of admissions events and programs.
- Serve as the point of contact when guests are on campus.
- Assist with school tours as needed.
- Schedule student visits and assessments.
- Managing historical student data.
- Additional duties and projects necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the Admissions Office.

Qualifications:
- School admissions or administrative support experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to details.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and prioritize.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional people skills and phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to cultivate new and maintain strong relationships and partnerships.

- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of Blackbaud and/or Ravenna Solutions a plus.
- Bilingual abilities– Spanish/English or Mandarin/English a plus.
Terms & Compensation
- Full time for 10-month school year – Mid-August to Mid-June
- Other work opportunities may exist, if summer hours are needed
- Non-Exempt, Hourly Position

- Compensation commensurate with experience
Hiring and Start Timeline
- Interviews will begin in late July.
- This position will begin late summer 2022.
