The Opportunity
The Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, PA anticipates an opening for an Associate Director of College Counseling to join our collaborative, energetic, six-person team. This position would begin August 1, 2023, but EA is open to candidates available and interested in starting immediately. The Associate Director will work with a portion of each class (typically fewer than 30 students), assisting students and their families through all aspects of the college counseling process, including creating and finalizing college lists, reviewing essays, and writing personalized letters of recommendation. They will also contribute to college counseling classes, workshops, and programs, meet with college representatives visiting EA, and represent the College Counseling Office at school events.
While this is a ten-month position, given the job's demands, some work during the summer is both inevitable and expected.
