St. Stephens and St. Agnes is an Age 3 - grade 12 Episcopal day school located six miles south of Washington, DC, in Alexandria, Virginia. Our school consists of three distinct campuses within a 1.5 mile radius, each uniquely tailored to meet the needs of the students within.
St. Stephens and St Agnes School seeks a Testing Coordinator and Front Office Manager in our Upper School. This is a full-time position with combined responsibilities in two functional areas. Principal responsibilities of this position are provided below:
Front Office Manager
- Provide a continuity of service in the front office reception area as it relates to the
Upper School, Admission visitors, other campus visitors. - Answering the main phone number for SSSAS and direct calls and requests as
needed - Maintain a welcoming and organized front office area and welcomes guests and
helps direct people to building locations. Maintains an orderly and well stocked
office space. - Partner with maintenance and security teams to implement building safety
protocols. This includes procedures to allow guest access and guest registration
when visiting the school. - Review emails/requests from SSSAS website and forward them to the appropriate
office.
Testing Coordinator
- Serve as the Advanced Placement (AP) Coordinator. Manage all aspects of the AP
program and work in partnership with the Upper School Administration and
Academic Center Specialists to support students with testing accommodations. - Support the Academic Center by managing ACT and College Board
Accommodations Approval Process. Coordinate and oversee weekend
standardized testing for students with accommodations. - Work in partnership with the College Office to manage the PSAT testing event,
especially as it relates to students with testing accommodations. - Assist with Upper School administrative tasks when necessary
The ideal candidate will have:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for working effectively with staff, parents, and
students and for training of proctors. - Outstanding administrative and organization skills.
- Ability to use common office machines and computer-driven word processing,
spreadsheet and file maintenance programs. - Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding the administration of standardized
testing including the provision of accommodations for students with learning
disabilities. - Experience with College Board and ACT accommodations application process.
- Experience with proctoring College Board and ACT tests. Able to follow secure
testing protocols with integrity and attention to procedures and detail. - Ability to handle personal, sensitive, and/or confidential information with
discretion, confidentiality, sensitivity, and good judgment.
