Instructional Support Teacher
Brewster Academy, a 9-12 co-educational, independent boarding school located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, seeks a dynamic teacher for our Instructional Support department. The IS teacher’s role is one of a learning specialist. Through informal and formal assessments, the IS teacher gains the knowledge necessary to determine each student’s needs. They provide strategy-based instruction to students in a 1:2 setting and work collaboratively with core academic teachers.

Qualified candidates will show evidence of exceptional teaching, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen understanding of the developmental needs of high school boarding students. As a member of the Brewster faculty, candidates can expect to coach, lead equivalent afternoon responsibilities, live in a dorm or serve as a dorm affiliate, and serve as an advisor in addition to teaching duties.
