Teaching at AIS
AIS uses a uniquely-designed Seamless Curriculum to teach grade-level content through full immersion in French, English, and Spanish. Teaching at AIS requires adaptability, flexibility, open-mindedness, and a strong desire to collaborate with team members. Based on the French philosophy of education, our early childhood program is academic in nature, with the objective of challenging young learners while at the same time providing them a comfortable environment to learn and grow holistically.
Our school works on a system of three-year learning cycles with end-of-cycle objectives for each three-year period, recognizing that each child may work towards different objectives at different paces. The 3-5 year old program is referred to as “Cycle 1” and is organized into five learning domains. For more information about these learning domains, please visit our website.
