The Early Childhood Assistant Director is responsible for helping to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate preschool experience in accordance with all Wesley Prep adopted curriculum, policies, and procedures. The Early Childhood Assistant Director will be warm and respectful of children and parents, providing quality communication between school and home. The Early Childhood Assistant Director will ensure that overall environment, equipment, and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
Essential functions include supporting the Director of Early Childhood in the managing all aspects of the Early Childhood program and day-to-day operations as well as supporting teachings and children in a safe and loving environment.
- Experience working in an environment with toddler and preschool aged children
- Early Childhood classroom experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Attention to detail for oversight of records management
- Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities
- Collaborative
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a positive and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Disciplined self-starter with strong creative, problem-solving, and time management skills
