Katz Yeshiva High School, a private Jewish high school in Boca Raton, Florida, offers a rigorous dual curriculum in Judaic and General Studies to approximately 500 students. We are currently recruiting for the following position for the 2023–2024 school year:
Full-Time Math Teacher Seeking dedicated, enthusiastic individuals with bachelor's degrees in Mathematics, Education with a Math concentration, or a closely related field to teach courses in your area of expertise. Must have comprehensive knowledge of discipline-specific curriculum and instruction methods, strong communication skills, fair and consistent classroom management, and proficiency in basic educational technology. Compensation and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications. Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach five classes four times weekly, for a total of 20 classes per week.
- Create and implement strategic weekly lesson plans and a wide range of formative and summative assessments consistent with course content and objectives.
- Provide thoughtful, substantive, individualized feedback on student work.
- Update Google Classroom and online gradebook RenWeb regularly.
- Hold scheduled weekly office hours during breakfast or lunch.
- Attend scheduled department, faculty, and professional development meetings.
- Attend extracurricular functions in support of the school community.
- Complete one weekly staff duty, such as monitoring halls or proctoring makeup tests.
