Position Summary:
The Athletics Department has an opening for a dynamic Assistant Athletic Director
with a strong background in athletic administration, coaching or teaching. A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or a related field is required.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:
? Assist in the day-to-day management of the School’s Athletic Department and afternoon co-curricular programming
? Work with the Director of Athletics to create and implement a strategic athletic marketing plan for all interscholastic teams
? Assist in the strategic planning to promote Kent School Athletics and generate revenue through summer programming, working closely with the Summer Program Leader
? Manage the ongoing creation and implementation of School wide athletic events, working with Residential Life and Blue Key to streamline school wide programming
? Coordinate all team community service projects
? Oversee all athletic award programming
? Design and coordinate all game programs, marketing materials, recruiting brochures, sport schedules and newsletter, in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Department
? Oversee the coordination of all athletic court, field, pool set-up and game day operations, in collaboration with Facilities Department
? Assist coaches with Playsight, Hudl and Kent Sports Media after school program
? Assist in maintaining School, Founders League and NEPSAC policies, regulations and expectations
? Coaching one or two seasons of interscholastic sports or an equivalent (usually three seasons) of co-curricular activities or teaching 2-4 courses
? Performing regular duty in our residential program
? Participating in Faculty committees
? Serving as Advisor to 5-7 students
? Maintaining Public Passenger Endorsement to drive a school vehicle for school activities
Additional Requirements:
? Successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment criminal background checks and drug test;
? Maintain punctual and regular attendance;
? Work is performed on a smoke free campus.
? All employees are required to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
