The Director of Technology (DoT) oversees Westminster’s technology office, consisting of two full-time staff; together, this office manages the School’s data network, Wifi, printing, telephone system, A/V systems, end user hardware and software support. The DoT is directly responsible for developing plans for purchase and implementation of hardware and software; establishing relationships and working with vendors; developing backup and recovery plans for the School's data network and infrastructure; and managing the technology budget. With other members of the office, the DoT also provides support to over 600 users in the school community on both Mac and PC platforms and provides direct support to a number of offices. The DoT serves as member of the Head’s Advisory Council and Department Heads group and reports directly to the Associate Head of School.
Salary for this full-time, twelve month position is highly competitive, commensurate with experience, and the employment package includes excellent benefits.
The search for the Director of Technology will be managed by a committee led by the Associate Head of School. - Technical expertise with hardware, including some capacity for break-fix work
