POSITION OVERVIEW
The school's next EMCA's primary function is to support the School's efforts in branding and messaging, marketing and digital marketing, internal and external communications, admissions and retention, and community building. The EMCA plays an important role in the School by providing administrative support, project management and execution support and creative contributions to the Office of Enrollment, Marketing and Communications, including using best practices for non-profits in the above areas, working extensively with technology and data/data analysis, social media, reporting, messaging, content creation, website design/enhancement and other related marketing, digital marketing, communications and admissions tasks in collaboration with other departments (Development, Enrichment, Finance, Facilities, Academic Directors and the Head of School).
REPORTING
The EMCA reports directly to the Director of Enrollment, Marketing & Communications (DEMMC).
JOB DESCRIPTION
Collaborate with the DEMMC as follows:
•Act as an enthusiastic ambassador of our program to all current and potential stakeholders
•Act as a passionate and tireless lead promoter of the school? mission, vision, core values, identity and brand ?ork closely and collaboratively with the administrative team
•Engage in targeted marketing outreach within the community with an eye toward recruiting students to programs
•Implement the short and long-term marketing, admissions, and communication strategies to support the advancement of the school? mission, vision, brand, reputation, philosophy, and events
•Create marketing content consistent with SDFAS? overall mission, values and brand messaging
•Achieve brand consistency, coordination of messages, and the highest standards for external and internal marketing and communications
promote programs that enhance the public perception of the school, interest parents to send their children to and remain in the school if already part of the community, and encourage donors to contribute to SDFAS
•Support public relations for school events
•Supporting admissions-related work, including but not limited to responding to inquiries, following up with multiple touch points with inquiries and applicants, visits of campus, open house, events off campus, parent education opportunities and shadow days for student applicants
•Write and send the ECHO INFO, a weekly school and community-wide information communication regarding all upcoming events and information
•Help with the organization of, and attend, all community events
•Maintain a social media presence that not only established our brand, but help develops connections with and among existing families and builds interest and trust with prospective ones
•Actively monitor the school's online reputation and react quickly and with a concerted marketing and communications response when needed
•Write and distribute press releases and radio advertising; pitch the local media to secure media placement
•Update the website design and content; ensure the website design flow adheres to branding specifications and is conducive to a user-friendly find/view pattern; track and analyze website data (GoogleAnalytics); oversight of an SEO strategy and process
•Help coordinate our relationship with our Digital Marketing Agencies; Analyze performance
•Design and print branded materials for educational, fundraising, admissions, enrichment and administrative operations
•Film and edit videos; take pictures and select for print and electronic communications; maintain media archives ?upport the development and execution of collateral materials for major organizational initiatives
•Keep abreast of trends and best practices within the independent school enrollment management, marketing and communications domains

REQUIREMENTS:
•Minimum of a B.A., Master? degree preferred
•Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills
•Bilingual in French & English is preferred but not required
•Experience with Marketing and Communications
•Experience with writing content for social media platforms and blogs
•Experience on website construction and maintenance
•Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, Zoom Webinar
•Knowledge of Chromebook and Mac platforms, and best practices for cloud computing as a tool used for work efficiency, digital teaming and collaboration
•Working knowledge of web development languages, content management systems, student information systems, current browsers and other emerging web technologies
