The Advanced Studies Program at St. Paul’s School announces a search for the position of college counselor for a five-week program June-July of summer 2023.
POSITION: Full-time college counselor
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Advanced Studies Program at St. Paul’s School announces a search for the position of full-time college counselor for a five-week program in June and July of summer 2023. Program dates are June 25 - July 30, with orientation for employees beginning either June 19 or June 21, depending on the position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position includes holding 30-45 minute meetings with ASP students for personalized college guidance counseling in the afternoons and evenings, Sunday-Friday, throughout the duration of the program. Additional responsibilities include co-facilitating the ASP’s annual College Day admission fair, with the possibility of co-hosting an additional 1-2 evening programs. The successful candidate will have prior experience at the secondary school or collegiate level and will have demonstrated expertise in providing college admission guidance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher); two or more years of experience in college admissions. Lively interest in the current landscape of college admissions. Particular expertise in New England colleges appreciated.
