Resident/Teaching Assistants (RAs) are the backbone of the [HS]2 program because they interact with students on every level and in every setting. [HS]2 hires RAs for Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Writing and College Counseling. RAs assist lead teachers in the classroom five days per week, up to two hours per day, and support students in study hall three nights per week. RAs live in a dormitory room with another teaching assistant (sharing bathroom facilities with students), and are on duty in the dorm three nights and mornings per week, and three full weekends during the summer session. Responsibilities also include chaperoning students during off-campus activities and transporting students in a 14-passenger vehicle. Successful RAs have a strong academic background, a high level of stamina, and compassion for others. They must genuinely enjoy working with high school students and have an interest in mentoring first-generation, college-bound students. In addition to room and board, [HS]2 RAs receive $3,000 - $3,500, depending upon their assigned responsibilities. If you are interested in being a RA at [HS]2, please complete the Application, and submit with your cover letter and resume.
2023 Dates: New faculty, including all TAs, will arrive on campus Wednesday, June 21 and depart Sunday, July 30. All [HS]2 students will arrive on campus on Monday, June 26th and depart on Saturday, July 29th.

The Colorado Rocky Mountain School (CRMS) is a college-preparatory independent high school located thirty miles northwest of Aspen in the mountains of western Colorado. CRMS’s average enrollment is 175 students in grades 9-12 from various countries.
