"How We Teach is Just as Important as What We Teach."
Crane’s Fellows Program is a residential teaching fellowship. It is a two-year, hands-on teaching experience that combines a rich professional development and mentoring program with daily opportunities for practical application.
Teaching fellows are new to the field of teaching and seek to immerse themselves in a dynamic and innovative educational environment in which they can gain valuable insights, perspectives, and practice in the field of teaching.
Applicants are a diverse group of open-minded, confident, passionate individuals who find themselves at a pivotal moment in their professional lives. They care deeply about children, are excited about schools and learning, are both reflective and imaginative, and are serious about becoming teachers. They must be college graduates who have some beginning experience working with children. An undergraduate degree in education or previous coursework in the field of education is not necessary but preferred.
This is a residential program and our teaching fellows will live in a beautiful furnished home adjacent to the Crane campus. This is a two-year, full-time, salaried program. The deadline for submitting applications for fall 2023 is February 20, 2023. However, we will continue accepting applications until all positions are filled. Initial interviews will take place in February via Zoom. Follow up interviews for final candidates will take place early March.
