Position Description
The Enrollment Management Assistant is a 12-month position that helps carry out The Churchill School and Center’s Mission of empowering students with language-based learning disabilities. By providing exceptional administrative support to the Enrollment Management Office, the Enrollment Management Assistant is essential to the admissions, financial assistance, and tuition funding processes. The Enrollment Management Assistant joins the Enrollment Management Team, working to meet short- and long-term enrollment goals set by school leadership and the Board of Trustees, and will report to the Chief Enrollment and Strategy Officer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- In coordination with the appropriate internal staff, prepare and transmit the necessary documentation for students during IEP/CSE and due process proceedings, including but not limited to draft IEPs, progress reports, affidavits, program descriptions, and attendance records.
- Manage student information systems related to the IEP/CSE process, including but not limited to the Frontline database and master Student Information list.
- Assist with scheduling IEP Meetings, DOE Assessments, and Classroom Observations.
- Proactively track tuition receivables and delinquencies and pursue necessary follow-up in collaboration with the Business Office.
- Communicate with families and their educational attorneys regarding outstanding legal documentation.
- Coordinate efforts and act as a conduit between the Enrollment Management and Business Offices, disseminating relevant documentation and information to ensure tracking of funds.
- Support Financial Assistance and Admissions processes, including responding to referrals and inquiries, processing applications, preparing contracts, scheduling appointments, and communicating with families.
- Maintain accurate and complete records and support data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Attend and supervise after-school, evening, and weekend school-sponsored events and activities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal Enrollment Management Assistant candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of proven experience providing responsible administrative support, preferably in an educational or legal setting. Furthermore, the Enrollment Management Assistant is:
- A Multi-Tasker: has stellar organizational skills and can manage the multi-faceted, fluid demands of day-to-day operations with grace and precision.
- Tech-Savvy: proficient in Blackbaud, Microsoft, and Google platforms and adept at learning new systems and databases.
- Reliable: has a strong attendance record and demonstrates a high level of commitment to the families they serve.
- Ethical: maintains confidentiality and displays discretion, sound judgment, and integrity.
- An Advocate: promotes equity, possesses a genuine call to work with students with disabilities and their families, and recognizes the unique community we seek to create.
- Customer-Oriented: provides excellent customer service by communicating empathetically, sensitively, and effectively.
Salary Range
$70,000-80,000 Commensurate with experience
