Blue Oak School is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit for our Auxiliary Programs Coordinator to lead our auxiliary programs by building on our past success and strengthening and expanding our after school (extended care and enrichment classes) and camp (school-year breaks and summer) programs. The person in this position is responsible for all aspects of these programs, including design and development, marketing and budget, staffing and day-to-day operations. The Auxiliary Programs Coordinator reports to the HoS and is a member of a collaborative administrative team.

- Work with the auxiliary programs team to develop attractive, theme-based, after-school activities camp programs
- Serve as the chief marketing officer for the programs and ensure strong enrollment
- Manage all aspects of the program budget
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise all auxiliary program team members
- Collaborate with BOS administration and faculty to ensure the after-school/auxiliary program quality and consistency is aligned with BOS mission and vision
- Serve as the lead administrator during extended care activities and camps
- Recruit teachers and outside educators and vendors to offer an exciting slate of after-school classes that appeal to BOS students, 5-14 years old
- Manage all registration, enrollment
- Provide strong communication with families and other employees, between day-school and after-school programs
- Provide a safe and secure environment for students enrolled in these programs
- Manage student behavior aligned with the Blue Oak philosophy
- Maintain a program climate of trust and mutual respect
- Manage program, staff, communication, and billing with Business & HR Manager
If hired, the annual salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000. The salary may vary depending on preparation, skills and experience. Competitive benefits, for eligible employees, include medical, dental, life insurance, 401k retirement match, and generous paid time off benefits.

- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field
- Three years of relevant work experience with school-age children: teaching, adventure programming, and/or camps or recreation leadership
- Program design and implementation experience
- One or two years minimum experience supervising others
- Marketing and customer relations experience
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
