Middle School Math Teacher
St. Andrew's Episcopal School is seeking an innovative Middle School Math Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting August 2023 at our 31st Street campus in Austin, Texas. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or higher in math or another STEM field, several years of teaching experience, excellent character, and a passion for teaching middle school mathematics. This full-time position will involve teaching up to four sections of middle school math including on-level and advanced courses, serving as an advisor, overseeing student field work, and additional duties such as on-campus supervision, supervising a student organization/club, and chaperoning a class trip.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished, collaborative teacher with student-centered pedagogy and successful classroom experience and has a strong ability to connect with middle school students. They also are present and involved in the life of the school beyond their classroom walls. Salary will be based on credentials and experience.
