The Healdsburg School (THS) offers families an outstanding education for children in grades Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Job Summary

The Director of Enrollment Management and Communications is an integral part of our school’s leadership team and is responsible for a range of responsibilities to advance the school.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enrollment

• Evaluate current admissions process and revise as necessary
• Manage admissions process with support from the admin team
• Develop enrollment management strategy that supports long-term financial sustainability
• Work with the head of school to analyze admission and demographic data to strengthen admission initiatives and ensure sustainable, robust enrollment that reflects our local community
• Develop long-term retention strategies; work with leadership team and faculty to implement and evaluate
• Provide enrollment projections to support forward looking and accurate budget models
• Execute admission management tracking of prospective students from applicant to enrollment and beyond; analyze data to determine how to strengthen enrollment strategy
• Develop admission and marketing materials
• Identify and cultivate partnerships that support diversity initiatives and expand outreach

Communications

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication plan, including current communications and identifying new opportunities to share our mission and work
• Identify key THS audiences and prepare effective ongoing strategic communications with each
• Work with Associate Head of School to develop strategy to engage Alumni
• Develop collateral to support our annual fundraising and capital campaign needs
• Prepare weekly newsletters
• Edit school communications as needed
• Maintain and update website

All administrators share supervisory responsibilities and fulfill additional duties as assigned
