Harpeth Hall seeks an innovative, creative, and collaborative part-time middle school orchestra and music teacher. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with a genuine appreciation and respect for girls and young women, with enthusiasm for all aspects of school life. Harpeth Hall is committed to an inclusive program, and candidates with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion work are encouraged to apply.
The orchestra and music teacher will support and promote a strong orchestra program within a robust academic program. An ability to promote and implement best practices in orchestra education for grades 5-8, teach middle school music classes, and collaborate with all areas of the performing arts program is essential.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Curricular
- Teach beginning string orchestra in alignment with the current curriculum
- Direct winter and spring performances
- Teach middle school general music classes
