The ideal candidate should have an engaging personality to provide a warm, caring, safe, and nurturing learning environment in which students can develop physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially. Our Preschool Teachers provide loving and caring interaction through play and exploration to help foster each student’s curiosity and growth to master the skills they need to succeed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 45 hours of Child Growth and Development
- 45 hours in Preschool Curriculum
- Minimum of one year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits
- Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional and intellectual development
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach carry, lift 50 lbs.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field (preferred)

- Professional presentation
- US citizen or current work visa
- 19+ years of age
- State of Maryland and FBI background check clearance

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related subject required
- 45 hours of Child Growth and Development or course equivalent
- 45 hours of Preschool Curriculum or course equivalent
- A minimum of two years of experience in a classroom setting is preferred
- MSDE Teaching Certificate preferred
- Maryland EXCELS credentialing Level 4-6 or willingness to pursue
Other Qualifications

- US citizen or current work visa
- State of MD and FBI fingerprint-supported background clearance
