Class IV Homeroom Teacher
The Buckley School, an all boys K-9 school, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, is seeking a Class IV Homeroom Teacher.
The position includes teaching Ancient History (Egyptian, Greek and Roman), English (literature, grammar, Oral English and writing) and Math. The Homeroom component includes group time for discussion, an annual class play, daily recess, lunch and study hall.
The candidate must be comfortable collaborating with colleagues and be able to efficiently organize and manage the classroom.
The preferred candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of teaching experience in grades 3-5
- A Master’s Degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong technology skills are essential.
