Job Summary: This is a full-time position as an assistant teacher with responsibility working in conjunction with Lead Teacher teacher to deliver curriculum as well as planning and implementing lessons; creating a supportive and intellectual learning environment; and supporting classroom teachers in meeting the needs of all students.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with classroom teacher to plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Work with classroom teacher to differentiate instruction as necessary to meet the needs of all students
• Support classroom teacher to communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs
• Work with classroom teacher to maintain an organized, welcoming classroom environment conducive to student learning
• Use technology to support instruction
• Use appropriate classroom management strategies so that boundaries are clear and students feel comfortable and able to learn
• Collaborate with other faculty on school-wide curriculum, programming, and events
• Show professionalism
• Grow and develop professionally

Salary Range: $34,000 - $42,000
