Upper School & BCIL Part-Time Science Lab Assistant
Brentwood School, a vibrant and diverse K-12 independent school, is seeking to hire a part time science lab assistant starting Thursday, August 17, 2023 to work a maximum of 25 hours a week consisting of 20 hours in the Upper School science department and 5 hours in the BCIL science lab. Work hours may vary, however, several mornings per week are preferred. The lab science assistant should be familiar with high school physics, chemistry, and biology, and be able to work quickly and efficiently at setting up labs, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, making chemical solutions, and supervising their use and disposal.

COMPENSATION: Brentwood School's employment requirements vary, from positions requiring no experience to those needing 20+ years of expert experience. Our salary range includes all levels of experience, from $20-25 per hour. Salaries are determined based on years of experience, education, full- or part-time status, the category of the role, and the number of months of worked per school year. Salary ranges do not include benefits, i.e. 403b retirement matching, paid lunch time, free breakfast and lunch, free parking, subsidy toward medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D plans, and generous time off. The pay range is an estimate and is not guaranteed. If hired, your actual base salary will be determined by your education, experience, and category.
