Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Part-Time Digital Photography Teacher to join our educational institution. As a Digital Photography Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing and inspiring students in the art and techniques of digital photography. This position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise, creativity, and love for photography with students of various skill levels.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive digital photography lessons to students, keeping in mind their skill level and learning objectives.
• Teach fundamental principles of digital photography, including camera operation, composition, lighting, exposure, editing techniques, and other related topics.
• Guide students in developing their artistic vision, creativity, and personal style within the realm of digital photography.
• Demonstrate various photography techniques and equipment, providing hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to enhance learning.
• Assist students in understanding and effectively utilizing digital photography tools, software, and editing applications.
• Provide constructive feedback and critique on students' work to help them improve their technical skills and artistic expression.
• Facilitate discussions and encourage active participation, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, developments, and technologies in digital photography, incorporating relevant information into lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results, and provide timely reports to parents or guardians, as required.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrate digital photography into other areas of study.
• Assist in organizing exhibitions, showcases, or photography competitions to highlight students' work and foster their growth and recognition.
• Ensure the safety and security of students during photography sessions, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience and expertise in digital photography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency and creative abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of digital cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
• Excellent understanding of composition, color theory, exposure, and other principles of photography.
• Effective teaching and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring others in the field of digital photography.
• Experience working with students of different age groups and skill levels, adapting teaching methods to meet their diverse needs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to plan lessons, prepare teaching materials, and assess student progress effectively.
• A bachelor's degree in photography, fine arts, visual arts, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.
