The Loomis Chaffee School seeks a head varsity boys golf coach for the Spring season of the 2023-24 academic year.
The Loomis Chaffee golf program has a tradition of excellence and competes against a very challenging schedule of opponents in New England. Loomis Chaffee boys programs calls Wintonbury Hills its home course for the spring season. The program also has use of a golf simulator on campus and the team is scheduled to workout with the Athletic Departments Strength and conditioning coach. This position includes all of the associated responsibilities of managing a competitive program, such as identifying and helping to recruit mission-appropriate student-athletes, the development and management of practice/game protocols and procedures, and collaborating with the college office for those players seeking to continue their golf careers in college.
This position requires an undergraduate college degree as well as significant and relevant golf coaching experience. Other desired experiences include: Working in a private and/or boarding secondary school setting; experience coaching golf and must have or be willing to attain a PSL (passenger A endorsement) driving license in the state of CT to drive a mini bus to practices and matches.

Candidates must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check and must possess or be willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certification prior to the season.
