Seeks an experienced Database Administrator to work closely with all academic and administrative offices. Expect to analyze, develop, implement, and maintain information system solutions, applications and practices for effective management of all school functions.
The ideal candidate has a broad understanding of the school’s mission and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, an appreciation of the educational process and respect for those who support this work. A hands on approach and team attitude are both expected keys to success in this critical role.
- Fluency with Veracross, SQL, and Access a plus
- Fluency in both Windows OS and Mac OS environments
- BS in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field preferred
- At least three years in Education related experience preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of database theory and experience with database systems.
- Must work well in a collaborative team environment as well as independently
- Experience in a data system conversion/implementation a plus
- Needs strong organizational skills and must be detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task and meet multiple competing deadlines.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, particularly to work closely with faculty, staff and the Administration
