Berwick Academy is actively seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Director of Admission for Outreach to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Director of Enrollment Management and working closely with both the Admission and Communication teams, the Assistant Director of Admission for Outreach will play a pivotal role in achieving the School's enrollment goals. This role will head our team in managing crucial inquiry and lead interactions, with the ultimate aim of boosting campus visits and applications. We're on a mission to ensure that every family's journey through the admission process is characterized by a distinct, personalized, and unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities will encompass two key areas:

Marketing and Outreach 

- Expertly manage and engage admission leads using our Sharpspring and OnBoard databases, harnessing their potential to generate valuable leads and applicants.

- Collaborate with the Director of Enrollment Management and Director of Communications to execute an annual marketing plan and strategy, contributing to our comprehensive outreach efforts.

- Shape compelling written content for diverse marketing platforms, showcasing the unique aspects of Berwick Academy.

- Spearhead a comprehensive touchpoint plan guiding prospective families from initial lead to enrollment, ensuring a seamless and impactful journey.

- Devise and execute a conversion plan for newly accepted students, ensuring their seamless transition into our community.

- Maintain up-to-date social media and external websites for admission and outreach events and touchpoints.

- Develop strategies for engagement on online review sites, fostering a vibrant dialogue with parents and alumni.

Applicant and Inquiry Engagement and Conversion 

- Develop and implement a specialized workflow and communication strategy for special interest applicants, including athletes, artists, musicians, etc., collaborating closely with coaches and program directors.

- Design targeted marketing initiatives to bolster recruitment, yield, and retention of special interest applicants.

- Serve as a key resource for coaches and program directors, guiding them through effective recruiting processes.

- Act as a passionate ambassador for Berwick Academy at school fairs and special interest opportunities, showcasing our unique offerings.

- Personally interact with prospective families and students, offering tours, interviews, and support throughout the application process.

- Represent Berwick through travel, visiting feeder schools to establish lasting connections.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree is required.

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in admission within an independent school or similar environment.

- Exhibit creativity, innovation, and the ability to translate ideas into action.

- Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are a must.

- Your outstanding customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail will set you apart.

- Proficiency with Google Suite and familiarity with social media platforms are vital.

- Experience with marketing automation tools is highly advantageous.

- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, showcasing flexibility, self-initiative, a sense of humor, and an innovative spirit.
