Temple Grandin School is seeking a dynamic math educator to join our STEM team. We are a small, intimate community serving neurodivergent students in grades 6-12. Class sizes are 4-8 students, with social-emotional support embedded. Great opportunity to build relationships with students, and passion for the subject of mathematics.
The Lead Math Teacher will be responsible for guiding student instruction using digital tools and interactive math curriculum, with an eye toward integrating mathematics with other STEM content. We are seeking a creative teacher who can differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs while also providing opportunities for mathematical discourse and group problem-solving.
Full-time teachers at Temple Grandin School also participate in school-wide executive function support and enrichment programming, which provide opportunities to model learning behaviors and to share personal interests with our students.
Salary $50-60K, depending on education and experience

- B.A/B.S degree in math/science and/or education from an accredited institution or related field teaching (M.A./M.S preferred)
- Working knowledge of the core strengths and challenges that characterize learners on the autism spectrum, or willingness to learn
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others, including students, parents, TGS staff, and community partners.
- Ability to maintain confidential information about students, and limit distribution to those who need to know within the school staff
