Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is seeking an energetic and motivated head coach for our upper uchool girls lacrosse program in the spring of 2024. Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is a pluralistic Jewish day school for students in grades 6-12 that is located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. This seasonal position is responsible for, under the guidance of the Director of Athletics, the leadership of the Varsity Girls Lacrosse team.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with players, parents, staff, and administration
- Implement lacrosse practice and training plans to facilitate student-athletes reaching their full potential
- Teach the sport of lacrosse, emphasizing both individual and team development
- Establish a strong and positive team culture that values leadership, responsibility, and respect, and aligns with JBHA’s core values
- Build meaningful relationships with players and families as it pertains to girls lacrosse
- Drive student-athletes to games in a team van if needed. The team practices on Barrack’s turf field and typically travels in a bus.
- Support the athletic program and student-athletes
- Attend end-of-season sports awards assembly
- Barrack lacrosse does not practice or compete on Fridays, Saturdays, or Passover Break.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience coaching girls lacrosse at the high school level
- Ability to motivate and teach student-athletes in a positive environment
- Demonstrated effective coaching skills
- Knowledge of lacrosse training and development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to exemplify the highest standard of leadership, sportsmanship, and respect
