In the absence of the regular teacher, the long term substitute teacher is responsible for teaching a full load of Upper Learning Spanish classes.

The responsibilities include and are not limited to: 

• Teach five sections of Spanish courses in Upper Learning - (Early February - May 2024).
• Delivers curriculum, assigns related coursework and tracks student performance; evaluates programs and student progress (written evaluation-academic updates & progress reports and conferences)
• Maintains safe learning environment for students.
• Delivers thorough and timely feedback to students for essays and assessments.
• Demonstrates an attitude of flexibility with regard to curriculum decisions in order to meet instructional needs.
• Provides guidance for learning according to the lesson plans.
• Work with students during Tutorial.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborates with colleagues and seeks feedback in the spirit of continuous improvement.
• Serve as an advisor to an assigned group of students.
• Participates constructively and collaboratively in professional development, grade level, and department meetings.
• Familiarity with school procedures and regulations.
• Performs other related duties as directed by principal or assistant principal.
• Embodies and advocates for the mission and vision of the school.
