Pay depends on experience ranging from $23.00 to $31.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
The registrar is responsible for managing student records, student prescription meds, course enrollments, transcripts, and other related academic administrative tasks. The registrar helps facilitate these tasks and ensures smooth operations within the registrar's office, and supports the Director of Admission in day-to-day tasks.
Duties include:
Data Entry and Management: Input and update student records, course schedules, and grades. Ensure that the database is up-to-date and accurate. Ability to run and create reports as needed. Support and train staff and parents.
Customer Service: The registrar interacts with students, faculty, parents, and employees in the business office, answering questions and addressing concerns related to enrollment, transcripts, grades, student/parent forms, use of the database, and other academic records.
Document Preparation: Manage and create all ‘back to school’ student forms in the school database: update as needed, follow up for missing forms, etc. Manage attendance records and reports as required. Create/update/manage/issue conference reports and report cards within the database.
Scheduling: Assist in the creation and maintenance of course schedules, room assignments and parent-teacher conferences.
Record Keeping: Maintain electronic and physical student records files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
Reports and Audits: Help prepare various reports for the institution and periodic audits of student records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Staying Updated: The registrar must be aware of academic policies, regulations, and deadlines and assist in enforcing them.
Qualifications
The person applying for this job must enjoy working with children in a family friend environment, be a dedicated team member, and be amenable to having dogs in the workplace.
Working as a registrar demands a meticulous and reliable individual with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and a keen eye for details. In the bustling environment of a private school, it's essential to possess an optimistic outlook, emotional stability, and an easygoing temperament. A genuine fondness for people is vital, as is the capacity to work harmoniously in close quarters with a diverse group of colleagues.

One year of experience is necessary.
