Browne Academy is seeking dynamic and passionate long-term substitute Spanish teachers to join our lower school team (Preschool - 4th Grade) from mid-February to the end of the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for connecting with and guiding students, classroom teaching experience, fluency in the Spanish language, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.  We are eager to welcome someone into our community who will live the mission and core values of our school. Classroom Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning 
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage student behavior and enforce school policies
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Collaborate with other staff members to support student success

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Fluent in Spanish 
• Experience teaching in a lower school classroom, preferably in an independent school setting.
