Casady School is seeking an Upper Division Physics Teacher. Candidates should have an abiding passion for creating a culture of belonging for every student in the classroom and in the larger school community.

Responsibilities:

• Teach four sections of Upper Division Physics - ability to teach other sciences is a plus
• Advise a small group of Upper Division students
• Attend to student rows in daily chapel service
• Share conversation with students at a family-style dining table during lunch
• Monitor study hall and proctor exams as needed
• Willingness to participate in coaching or activity sponsorship

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, or Bachelor’s Degree with three years of experience teaching Physics
• Understanding of adolescent development
• Ability to utilize technology to enhance student learning
• Positive, proactive, and clear communication style with colleagues, students, and parents
