Position Summary
DCDS is seeking a Long Term Computer Science Substitute Teacher to begin January 2024. This position is a full-time, per diem position, slated to begin in January and run approximately two months. Onboarding/shadowing will be provided. The teaching load will include: AP Computer Science (APCS); Introduction to C programming; Topics in C++; Introduction to programming; and an independent study.
Essential Duties:
- Teach the concepts of computer science.
- Prepare the APCS students for the annual Computer Science A Exam.
- Maintain a regular system of monitoring, assessment, record-keeping and reporting of student progress.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s Degree. Advanced degree preferred.
