Norfolk Collegiate is seeking qualified candidates for an upper school science teaching position. This position will be responsible for teaching upper school courses including Biology and AP Biology, advising a small group of upper school students and supporting the school’s mission. A successful candidate for this position will have a degree in science or a related discipline, excellent organizational and communication skills, and experience teaching science to adolescents. Experience teaching Advanced Placement courses and life science-related electives is a plus. Ideal candidates will have teaching experience in an upper school setting and a commitment to interdisciplinary approaches to learning.

We seek teachers who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about teaching young adults. Candidates should be interested in working with students from a variety of backgrounds who possess a range of abilities and learning styles. This position requires collaborative work with others; therefore, this individual must be able to work effectively with colleagues and parents.
