Dana Hall School seeks candidates for the position of Associate Director of Alumnae Giving.
The individual in this position will be accountable for:
- Managing a portfolio of donors and prospects with an emphasis on individual donor relationships, solicitation activities, and stewardship; conducting regular prospect meetings with the goal of qualifying and soliciting high-end annual prospects for the Dana Fund, the Fearless Futures campaign and/or the Helen Temple Cooke Society
- Supporting the 15 reunion committees in their fundraising efforts to meet participation and dollar totals
- Planning and implementing a fundraising campaign focused on Young Alumnae
- Managing the Alumnae Fundraising Committee and their solicitation of alumnae
- Developing timely and relevant institutional knowledge to create and implement solicitation and stewardship strategies for prospects
- Entering activity in Raiser’s Edge/RE NXT and generating reports as needed
- Working collaboratively with the entire Advancement team and especially with the other front-line fundraisers as well as the Associate Director of Alumnae Relations
- Participating in and contributing to Advancement team meetings
Attending relevant Dana Hall events, which may include limited travel, as well as evenings and weekends, as necessary
Successful candidates will possess excellent customer service skills; a strong team orientation and success in collaboration; superior time-management skills with an ability to manage many tasks and projects simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines and maintaining quality work; excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and an ability to create effective action plans to meet goals; effective communication skills, both oral and written; and an ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with utmost discretion.
Candidates must have: a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of fundraising and donor management experience, previous volunteer management experience, and proficiency with a variety of computing systems. Knowledge of data management systems and processes and experience with relevant Blackbaud solutions is preferred.
This is a full-time, twelve-month position reporting to the Director of Development.
