Key School seeks classroom substitute teachers for all content areas across all four divisions (age 2.5-Grade 12). Substitutes are responsible for fulfilling a teacher’s lesson plan and ensure students learn the material in a supportive, collaborative and positive environment. Substitute teachers are compensated for a full or half day, depending on the coverage needed.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and have experience working in a classroom setting.
- Candidates should support the Key School Mission, Core Values, and Diversity Statement.
- Candidates should Indicate the grades and subjects they are qualified to teach in their cover letter and on our internal application.
Physical Requirements: The ability to navigate stairs as part of daily routines; mobility around a small campus with uneven pavement; bending and squatting as required to participate in activities; lifting/carrying boxes up to 25 pounds; and the ability to rearrange furniture for activities is occasionally required.
