Position Description
This full-time position serves as an administrative assistant to the Beginning and Lower School Divisions. The administrative assistant facilitates the efficient operations of the assigned division by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Manages front desk of Beginning and Lower School Divisions including:

Provides customer service to students, parents, and visitors.

Executes security protocol.

Answers, screens and transfers phone calls.Receives and routes incoming mail.

Maintains organization of supply rooms and storage closets, coordinates maintenance of office equipment.

Completes administrative tasks, including administrative inquiries, and projects as requested by the Division Director(s).

May be asked to schedule meetings and manage reservations of division spaces.

Manages the collection and sale of used uniforms and/or school books.

Responsible for overseeing the assigned health/sick room. Administers basic first aid, dispenses approved medications, and maintains records on children and medical histories. Supervises sick or injured children and communicates with parents/families or seeks professional medical attention if warranted.

Maintains all student records. May be responsible for credit card reconciliation.

Strong understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.

Desire to provide assistance to students, families, and colleagues.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Must be able to traverse school facility and lead students to safety in the event of an emergency.
Salary & Benefits
This position has a salary range between $22 and $26 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits available are subject to plan and candidate eligibility.
