US Cooney Fellow
The purpose of this one-year internship is to partner a lesser-experienced future educator in any Upper School discipline with master teachers to gain experience with effective lesson planning, creating an engaging learning environment, and mastering content delivery and assessment. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, eager to learn, student-centered, and have interest in becoming a full-time educator but does not have the experience necessary to be considered for full-time teaching positions.  This fellowship experience is also intended to help future educators develop a strong familiarity with core content, connect content to students’ innate inquisitiveness, integrate technology into the curriculum, among other key aspects of effective instruction
