Notre Dame Preparatory School, a Catholic, independent school for girls grades 6-12, located in Towson Maryland, seeks a full-time Middle School French/Latin teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The teacher’s responsibilities will be to teach basic levels of French, introductory Latin 6 course, engage in the Middle Level (ML) school life and serve as a Middle Level advisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record in French language and culture with an understanding of the communicative method of instruction. While special emphasis is placed on the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines, there will also be a focus on the implementation of the Partnership 21st Century Skills Map. An understanding of the developmental needs of the Middle Level learner is also needed.
