Latin Teacher
Status: Full Time, Exempt Reports to: Dean of Faculty & Department Chair The Ethel Walker School announces a search for a full-time teacher to instruct Latin classes in the World Languages Department to begin teaching in August of 2024. The preferred candidate will have at least three years’ teaching experience, an advanced degree in the discipline or education, and the ability to teach the breadth of Middle and Upper School students. Preferred candidates will have experience teaching within a Comprehensible Input (CI) framework. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to creating a culturally responsive classroom and fostering a growth mindset, while guiding students in becoming creative, patient, and collaborative problem solvers.
