POSITION OVERVIEW: Admiral Farragut Academy is seeking a highly motivated, professional, energetic, certified Naval Science Instructor ("NSI") (retired USN commissioned officer in grades O3 or above who enjoys and appreciates high school students. The NSI will report to the Senior Naval Science Instructor. Experience in JROTC instruction at the high school level and Drill/Color Guard is highly preferred; experience in a private school setting and/or a residence life situation is a plus. The NSI Applicant must be willing to work after school, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to support the many unit events and activities, as well as school and community events.
