George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for a Director of Advancement Services.
The Director of Advancement Services is a strategic partner with the Advancement team. They are responsible for advancement related database management, data governance, data security, reporting, analytics, and prospect research. They play a key role in overseeing, developing, and implementing data and gift entry procedures; list management, segmentation, reporting, donor acknowledgements, and prospect development; and contribute to the successful execution of advancement goals and strategies. They advise and assist the Director of Development as a member of the leadership and decision-making team within the Advancement Office.
Bachelor's degree and five or more years related experience in fundraising, finance/accounting, database management, or equivalent combination.
Experience with CRM and/or ERP systems (Raiser’s Edge preferred, but not required).
Strong MS Excel knowledge and skills are required, including the ability to create and manage pivot table reports.
Proficiency with database structures, including an aptitude for database report writing tools (familiarity with MS SQL Server Reporting Language preferred).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
