Upper School Mathematics Position, 2024-2025 School Year
The Wardlaw+Hartridge School, located in Edison, New Jersey, seeks an experienced, dynamic, and resourceful Mathematics teacher for our Upper School Division. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of pedagogy and instructional practices in high school education and enthusiasm for connecting learning to real life application. We seek an energetic and progressively minded educator who is eager to collaborate within grade level and vertical teams. The ideal candidate will be able to teach the entire high school math curriculum; the ability/willingness to teach AP Statistics is highlydesirable. Interest in teaching in AP Microeconomics would also be a huge plus but is not required. The selected candidate will serve as an advisor to a small group of students and participate fully in the life of the Wardlaw+Hartridge School, including effectively collaborating with colleagues, engaging in a continual cycle of professional development, actively joining meetings, committees, service learning, and other community gatherings, and working to uphold the mission and vision of the school. Minimum Qualifications
All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the school’s mission and core values of Integrity, Opportunity, Support, Diversity, Community and Sustainability.
A Bachelor's degree and teaching experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
