Morgan Park Academy has an immediate opening for a full-time Admissions Director. The Admissions Director is a key driver in Morgan Park Academy’s recruitment and admissions strategy to enroll mission-appropriate students. The Admissions Director is responsible to and reports to the Head of School.

Qualified candidates will have three or more years of experience with school admissions, excellent writing and communication skills, and a willingness to work in a collegial manner with prospective families, faculty, staff, and parents. Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in various roles across the organization with a proven track record of success in marketing a school. Bachelor's degree required.
Responsibilities:
Represent Morgan Park Academy’s mission, program, culture, and admission process to prospective families and the broader community, including the recruitment of international students
In conjunction with the Director of Enrollment Management, participate in the entirety of the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment to retention
Provide prospective students, parents, and guardians with information regarding admissions requirements and processes as needed
Using our established software tools, coordinate, lead, and manage school tours, Open Houses, recruitment events, and Financial Aid events. Experience in computer databases and information systems such as Blackbaud, FACTS, or other industry-related CRM solutions preferred
Work as a member of the Communications Team on all marketing and public relations activities at the school, including but not limited to: representing and promoting the school at both on and off-campus events and coordinating the design of promotional material; some nights and weekends will be required
Oversee all admissions-related events: open houses, morning coffees, feeder school visits, accepted student events, and school fairs.
Supports the financial aid process with the Director of Finance
Oversee the admissions office and the admissions budget to ensure appropriate admissions material, mailings, and publications.
Should be passionate about the work and mission, highly organized, and extremely detail-oriented.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats to perform all functions related to this position.
Overseeing the school’s social media and advertising the school on various media platforms.
Oversee the network of parents, former parents, and alumni to assist in the admission program, including the Parent Ambassador Program and the Student Ambassador Program.
Attend Committee Meetings and Board meetings (by invitation/notification) pertaining to Admissions and strategies.
Work Location/Hours:
This position is not remote and requires the candidate to be an active and present member of the campus community. Hours occasionally include nights, weekends, and the occasional holiday.
