POSITION SUMMARY

The speech-language pathologist will be responsible for providing individualized services for students in grades K-12 at the Woodlynde School.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide therapy for students in areas including language, articulation, fluency, and social communication.
• Provide individualized instruction within the context of a small group as well as one-on-one services.
• Administer diagnostic screenings and evaluations as needed.
• Effectively consult and collaborate with colleagues to integrate recommended strategies into content area classes.
• Communicate with families to address student needs, concerns, and progress of treatment.
• Provide written evaluation reports and progress notes.
• Maintain complete and accurate records that are reflective of a student’s performance and growth during intervention.
• Practice professionalism through ongoing professional development, reflection, and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• PDE Certification
• ASHA CCC’s
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania

• Technological proficiency in maintaining digital files and records, include use of a learning management systems and database.
