Job Description:
Portledge School seeks to hire a dynamic Middle School English Teacher for a part-time leave replacement position from late November 2024 - mid April 2025. Responsibilities include teaching 3 sections of Middle School English, participating collegially in meetings, and taking an active role in the life of the school community, including advisory. This is a part-time, temporary faculty position that reports directly to the Middle School Division Head.

Maintaining online Atlas curriculum database for courses taught
Attending a minimum of 3 evening/weekend programs that support the community throughout the year

Qualifications:
BA Degree minimum; advanced degree preferred
Teaching certification preferred
Experience in teaching reading and writing skills required
Superb written and oral communication as well as organizational and time management skills
