St. Peter’s School (SPS) seeks a Campaign Manager to join its Development team. Their primary responsibility will be to manage the pipeline of donors and record donor information. This individual must be a proactive self-starter, a creative problem-solver, a strategic thinker, and an extremely organized, detail-oriented multi-tasker. This is an 80 percent time position for the duration of the campaign, estimated to be around three years.
Job Responsibilities
Manage pipeline of prospective campaign donors and record donor information, including prospect stage, request amount, meeting details, solicitor assignments, and next steps into an organized pipeline
Act as the primary support to the Director of Advancement regarding all major gifts activity, including scheduling donor cultivation, solicitation meetings and stewardship correspondence
Management of campaign activity for the Director of Advancement, Head of School and trustee volunteers, including preparation of all meeting materials
Support the Director of Advancement in identification of top prospective donors for the campaign and creation of engagement strategies for each prospective donor
Draft donor correspondence for the Director of Advancement and the Head of School
Prepare and distribute monthly campaign progress reports
Oversee process for preparing and s accurate pledge reminder letters twice a year
Conduct comprehensive research on prospective donors and prepare research profiles in advance of campaign pipeline meetings and major donor meetings
Prepare agendas and materials for weekly campaign pipeline meetings and follow-up action items
Enter notes into Veracross database after meetings and support with follow up as needed
Plan and execute on campus and off campus campaign cultivation events
Prepare individualized campaign proposals, table of gifts, and all other meeting materials
Join donor cultivation events and solicitation meetings and share the school’s case for support with prospective donors
Draft correspondence (emails, letters, fundraising appeals), as requested
Work closely with the Director of Advancement, as requested, on the Annual Fund leadership gifts
Manage all capital campaign expenses and reconcile with Finance Office
General Administrative Support
Support the Advancement Committee meetings, including minutes and follow up items
Staff special events including some evenings and weekends as needed.
Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Campaign support experience, preferably for an independent school
Experience managing six- and seven-figure solicitations from identification to stewardship
Database experience (Veracross, Raiser’s Edge, SalesForce or other CRM) experience required
Ability to work with Google suite products and manage a shared Google drive
