Assistant Director of Student Life/ IT Coordinator
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in creating/updating all handbooks, informational manuals and training programs for employees who work in the dorms, student activities, coaching and all aspects of student life outside of the classroom for the Academy Program
Develop, create goals, objectives and execute individual plans for Academy students
Supervise the FDRs and PT staff. With the Dean of Student Life, create a schedule to meet with dorm staff
Implement training programs as directed
Conduct and schedule ILS assessments – pretesting, mid-year testing and post-testing to measure growth
Prepare progress reports from dormitories and continually reassess goals for each student
Create dormitory room assignments and oversee dormitory room checklists at the beginning and end of the school year.
Create maintenance list of repairs
Oversee laundry services for Academy students
Keep track of appropriate budgetary needs
Develop and supervise evening programming to include clubs, ILS and recreation
Supervise Weekend Activity Coordinator
Teach afternoon classes as assigned
Manage and troubleshoot IT issues on campus
Other:
Serve as a mentor.
Attend all special events throughout the year.
Conduct fire drills and record on a monthly basis – dormitories
Fill out and turn in PO slips with receipts in a timely fashion
