SUMMARY

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Facilities & Maintenance, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining and protecting our facilities. A building's external and internal appearance reflects on its occupants. The maintenance worker must be careful and thorough when working, cleaning, and tidying the premises. One of the main tasks is overseeing the property’s interior and exterior during weekend events.

The daily schedule is 5 pm to 9:30 pm, and weekends are included when needed. The weekend schedule will depend on the events and tasks that must be done on Saturdays and Sundays. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Opening and closing the school
• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the communal areas of the building
• The cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms, gym, cafeteria, and other areas that are used as needed
• Set up and break down furniture for events
• Ability to interact with staff, students, parents, and visitors at school while remaining professional, polite, and courteous
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Physical demands include lifting, stooping, bending, carrying, reaching for supplies, or standing for extended periods is common.
